Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant
Today we enjoyed a very good post-Adegga wine market lunch at the recently opened Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant at Oriente. The main players from Adegga were there – the two Andrés and Daniel, who looks after the logistics etc in the backroom. Apparently Oriente has become a popular place for Chinese to buy property. Hence the demand for a really good Chinese restaurant.
As the name suggests the restaurant's speciality is Pekin Duck – available as
whole duck or a half. They serve the breast first with the traditional accompaniments, then the legs etc. sliced with a sweet and sour sauce. Then finally the various fragments fried until they are crisp. All three ways are delicious.
