(VD) aurait été pris dans des démêlés financiers, qui n’étaient pas de
son fait, mais qui porteraient sur des pertes liées à des
investissements dans de grands vins, dans le cadre d’une vaste
escroquerie orchestrée par une société valaisanne.'

However, Le Bilan's story has been denied by the Procureur Général, Nicolas Dubuis, for the Canton of Valais, who has been looking into the affairs of Private Finance Partners, the company that is alleged to be the vehicle for the alleged fraud. According to the Procureur Général, Violier does not featured amongst those who have complained or the victims.
