Dug out of the wine cupboard earlier this week, the very fine Sauvignon from Saint-Bris from Domaine Gueguen was a lovely surprise, especially as I have no idea how we acquired it. The 2013 was deliciously crisp, precise and, although I know in some quarters the use of mineral as a tasting term is frowned upon, mineral for me perfectly summed up this very attractive Sauvignon.
