The Music Burguer
Sadly the tempting Music Burguer stall was closed, so we – Magnus Reuterdahl, Anne Naumanen, André Ribeirinho, Beatriz Silva, Carole Macintyre and myself – had a very good lunch at Restaurant D'Bacalhau in Oriente. As the name implies this restaurant specialises in Bacalhau (salt cod) – the great Portuguese speciality.
We started with four different Bacalhau dishes before a main course of dorade (sea bream) cooked in a salt crust, which seals the fish and keeps it wonderfully moist. André and Beatriz kindly brought along a couple of whites: the 2013 Alvarinho from the Vinho Verde region made by João Portugal Ramos and the 2013 Ribeiro Santo Branco Encruzado 2013 DOC Dão.
With first unofficial celebrations of the the third anniversary of the #winelover group now underway it seemed an opportune moment to create a #fishlovers group as a sub-species of #winelover, so the Restaurant D'Bacalhau became our first 'hook-up'. Tempting though it might be to call members of #fishlovers 'hookers', I can't think that it would be appropriate!!
