We chose this 2008 Pinot Reserve from Chapel Down as our toast to celebrate my Father's long life last Friday lunchtime. It proved to be an excellent and appropriate choice and was very popular with the 30 or so people present at the post-service meal.
We bought it from Majestic in Tenterden – two bottle offer at £22.48. The wine is made at Tenterden
Needless to say Champagne was not an option.
