2014 La Bourgueillothérapie; photo expo – de Nicolas à Patrice ouvertes

Expo photo@Café de la Promenade, Bourgueil

It's been a very good day so far. Firstly a very enjoyable bike ride from Epeigné-les-Bois across to Bourgueil passing via Tours. It was great to be able to avoid virtually any heavy traffic with the vast majority of the route either on very minor roads or dedicated walking and cycle paths. East of Tours I certainly needed the mountain bike, as a road bike wouldn't have coped with the bare earth tracks. After Tours when I picked up the Loire à vélo route it was different – metalled tracks and very well signposted.

Once I got to Café de la Promenade it was time to put up my photo expo called de Nicolas à Patrice (from Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil through to Saint-Patrice). This is part of the 2014 La Bourgueillothérapie. There are 35 framed photos mainly portraits of producers and other personalities from this area. All the photos are priced@60€ with 50€ going to La Croix Rouge (La Bourgueillothérapie's chosen charity this year). The remaining 10€ is to cover the cost of the frames, photographic paper and the printing ink.
