Istanbul: a restaurant with a view

 

The Blue Mosque

Now arrived in Istanbul for the first part of the 2012 European Wine Bloggers Conference. Our flight from Luton – message to self in future avoid travelling via Luton Airport at all costs – arrived too late to join the Monday night group dinner. Also there was very heavy traffic in from the airport. Instead we just eat some meze at The Armada, our hotel, while gazing at the Blue Mosque. 

Today it is an early start for the pre-trip to Thrace.   

There should be much more to follow.
