La Belle Histoire: new crêperie Bretonne@Sancerre

La Belle Histoire, Crêperie Bretonne, Sancerre

Last Thursday after I had finished the tasting of 2011 reds from the Central Vineyards we decided to grab a quick bite of lunch before heading back to Touraine via Reuilly. We tried La Belle Histoire crêperie, which had just opened at the beginning of the week. It is handily placed just by the roundabout at the western entrance to Sancerre on the Rue du Serre Coeur and opposite the Garage Cotat Mulhausen.

The service was very friendly and obliging. There are a wide range of savoury and sweet crêpes to choose from and we were very happy with the three different savoury crêpes that we tried. Open seven days a week, the proprietors already have a crêperie in nearby Cosne. Certainly recommended.
