I’m afraid your readers will find me boring, Jim, but I really enjoy the way you take pictures of the countryside and the landscapes. It is as if “at random”, but always very special. OK, true, I’m partial about the islands of Scotland, but still: their sheer beauty, even in bad weather conditions, shines through your lens. Keep going.
By the way, do you remember Peter’s:
“ I ride tandem with a random
Things don't run the way I planned them
In the humdrum ...” ?

A lovely part of the world Jim, well my father thought so. He fished the lochs every June for years (and is now in one of them). He stopped at the Langass Lodge on the island. Apparantly great food there. If your still there pop in and say to the chef John for me, a good friend of my father's.

Hi Sean. Many thanks. Sorry about the delayed reply. We had a very good dinner at Langass Lodge on the Friday. Great beauty up here – especially Harris.
