2010 in Sancerre (photos)

My apologies that there has been rather limited posting on Jim's Loire since midday Sunday. Unfortunately, although Chavignol may be the centre of the wine world, internet connection there is rather troublesome, so trying to post pictures etc. has been difficult and frustrating. I'm now back in Touraine so things should be easier.

Yesterday afternoon we were joined in our quick tour around seeing various producers by Myron Redford of Amity Vineyards in Oregon. Myron happened to be staying in Chavignol and we spent a very interesting and agreeable afternoon visiting. This year the Oregon vintage is very late, so Myron has time to head to Alsace before returning to Oregon to supervise the vintage.
