Some southern views
Looking down on the valley just to the west of the little town of Maury
(above and below)
Cucugnan in the southern Corbières (above and below)
Lovely photos - takes me back to 2005 when I did a 'stage' in Maury, green harvesting. There was a beautiful fresh water pool in Maury at the foot of the hills which made it all worthwhile. Stunning landscapes, hidden vineyards, rugged. A lovely reminder.
Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at that same view over Cucugnan two months ago when visiting our friends who live at Cassagnes. Such a beautiful region.
Thanks Jean. It is a stunning region.
ReplyDeleteMaury wines have that extra special appeal for me.
ReplyDeleteLong live the memory of Le Vigneron!
