Salon des Vins de Loire: 2011: 30th January - 1st February



For the first time the Salon des Vins de Loire will start on a Sunday. It will run from 30th January through to Tuesday 1st February 2011.

Presumably the decision to shift the Salon slightly as been taken following the experience of the bi-annual fair in Bordeaux that has begun on Sunday for a number of editions.

    the logic will be to alternate with vinisud or to organize in partnership with vinisud, ie sunday monday and tuesday in Loire and Wednesday thursday and Friday in Montpellier. Once every two year that will be great and the other year in Hong Kong vinisud and Salons de Loire together? WHat do you think?

    On the Salon website it says it opens on Saturday 30th Jan and is then open on Monday 31st and Tuesday 1st February. This would indicate that it's not open on the Sunday (normally the day of the Renaissance tasting?. http://www.salondesvinsdeloire.com/

    I think Tasting Room that you have misread the Salon site, which appears to indicate that the Salon will open on the Sunday.
