When I went to collect the bread this morning at Le Lézard Vert (Epeigné-les-Bois) I was warned by the three habitués, who take their coffee in the bar every morning, to say nothing about a football match played last night apparently between Mexico and France.

There was a deathly hush over Epeigné last evening.
ReplyDeleteWill be in the Lézard Vert this evening to watch Algeria play England. As Nacer, who runs the bar, ia from Algeria it could be tricky if England happen to win.
