2009 Menetou-Salon Rouge, Chavet Fils
Attractive bottle of 2009 Menetou Salon Rouge from Chavet Fils – lightish and fresh Pinot Noir and soft enough to drink as an aperitif. Or to enjoy when it is young and lightly chilled especially in summer. Cellar cool if you have a suitable cellar. This was one of three 2009 red Menetou-Salons in the recent tasting organised for me by the Bureau du Centre Loire.
