The big start on picking Cabernet Franc in Chinon, Bourgueil, Saint Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Saumur as well as continuing harvesting in Montlouis and Vouvray looks due to start tomorrow. Unfortunately Méteo France's forecast for the coming week looks decidedly difficult with rain forecast for most of the week. A few days ago Météo France were forecasting reasonable weather until Wednesday, when it would rain, and clear up later in the week. Have to hope that they have made a mistake or that the weather pattern will return to being favourable. Fingers crossed time!

Crucial week to come – weather looks iffy!

Unfortunately Méteo France's forecast for the coming week looks decidedly difficult with rain forecast for most of the week.
