There is an interesting debate here on Dr Vino about the merits and demerits of Cabernet Franc following some outspoken comments by a columnist in the Toronto Globe and Mail.
Frankly the more people, who detest the lovely wines made by producers like Yannick Amirault, Pierre-Jacques Druet, Frédéric Mabileau, Château de Coulaine, Domaine de la Noblaie, Antoine Sanzay, the Foucault brothers, Château de Villeneuve to name but a few, the better as it helps to keep prices at an affordable level.

Vive le cabernet Franc! Fruity and quaffable as a young saumur-champigny, or a more complex, like a vintage bourgueil or chinon, I love this grape. Honni soit qui mal y pense, and like you said, the more people who don't acknowledge this, the more affordable the wines.
