Previous report on Brett's proposed tasting on the plinth.
Thanks, Jim, for posting this and the previous post to highlight the event - the only wine tasting so far that's been held on the plinth, we believe.
ReplyDeleteA piece of related wine trivia: no glass is allowed on the plinth, so Brett decanted the five wines into plastic water bottles and tasted out of a plastic glass. Leftovers from those plastic water bottles were in my fridge and I've just re-tasted them. All seem to be in perfectly decent condition (mind you, that's after a day of tasting Argentinian wines).
Wink – Glad it went well and that Brett got good support.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim for your blogs about the 4th Plinth and the photos.
ReplyDeleteAs well as great support from the assembled audience in Trafalgar Square and on social media, the gold pants also gave me useful support...
Thanks Brett. I'm sure the gold pants will rapidly become a feature of the London tasting scene.
