Cheering up the Layon

Kuehne-Nagel's inspiring new logistics centre: Beaulieu-sur-Layon

The Layon Valley (Anjou) has long been rather drab and unattractive (see below), so the far-sighted Anjou planners should be congratulated for passing this beautiful and inspiring building of Kuehne-Nagel close to Exit 24 of the A87 autoroute. The new building is beautifully proportioned and is a glorious addition to the patrimonie of Anjou. Further evidence of the planners' exquisite taste and profound feel for the local area will soon be there to be admired as the Kuehne-Nagel building is part of a large industrial zone now under development.

The pic of the new building was taken while driving past, so the true quality of the purple, blue has perhaps not been captured.
