You may remember I was hunting a juicy Cab Franc with zero success (turned out I already had the best value wine there, in the shape of Baudry's Chinon les Granges), when you recommended I look at Simon Hawkins'Domaine du Fontenay (http://www.leaandsandeman.co.uk/wine-producer/domaine-du-fontenay-1485-04.html). But in truth I'd already found Lionel Gosseaume's delicately fruity Touraine 'Marcottes' Gamay, and his interestingly fleshy Sauvignon 'Sauterelles'.(http://www.leaandsandeman.co.uk/wine-producer/domaine-de-pierre-1482-04.html). Did not make it to the salon this year so look forward to trying this one next week.Charles Leahttp://www.leaandsandeman.co.uk/noreply@blogger.com
