Jacky Blot – two entry level 2011 dry whites

Jacky Blot, Domaine de la Taille aux Loups: 2011 Les Dix Arpents, Montlouis

Jacky Blot, Domaine de la Taille aux Loups: 2011 Les Caburoches, Vouvray

Have been tasting (samples) a number of 2011 dry whites for a forthcoming Decanter article including these two entry level whites from Jacky Blot. I particularly liked Les Dix Arpents.

2011 Les Dix Arpents, Montlouis
Very pure and minerally with good length.

2011 Les Caburoches Vouvray
Les Caburoches has floral aromas with apple and quince fruit.

It will be interesting to taste the later wines once they are bottled, which will include the first vintage from the Clos Mosny and increased volume from the additional parcel of Le Clos Michet.
