Simon Baile continues to run his companies with his customary efficiency. Companies House issued a First Gazette (notice that company will be struck off and dissolved) on 10th January 2012 for non-compliance – the deadline for filing the latest company accounts due on 31st December 2010 was 30th September 2011. When the accounts had still not been received by the beginning of January, Companies House started non-compliance procedures. The accounts were filed on 8th January and the striking off action was cancelled. Exactly the same happened in 2011 due to late filing of the company accounts.
Ex Cellars Investments Ltd is being struck off for non-compliance. The first gazette was issued on 10.1.2012 and the company will be officially dissolved on 24.4.2012.

Am I right in thinking this is your first blog about Oddbins since EFB bought them last year?
Because I'd welcome any stories, good or bad, about Oddbins mark II.
Anon. Thanks.
Apart from reporting that Simon Baile has given up some of the shops he acquired from the Oddbins estate I haven't posted anything on Oddbins under the new ownership. May well post something in the future if I think it is newsworthy or interesting.
